About us
The headquarters of Germany's Romerhof Winery is situated in the Mosel, the world’s most renowned Riesling-producing region. Its affiliated Weingut Eifel-Pfeiffer and Weingut Spohr are both owned by the same family. The history of the winery’s vineyards dates back to the Roman era, more than 2,000 years ago. The family of Mr. Eifel, the proprietor of the winery, has owned and operated these vineyards since 1642.
In the Mosel, the winery boasts world-famous Riesling vineyards, including Sonnenuhr in Wehlen, Glatzweiler Paradies, Wunderberg, Badstube, Herrenberg and Bogenberg. In the Rheinhessen region, it holds iconic premier vineyards such as Liebfrauenstift-Kirchenstück and Abenheimer Klausenberg.
