The Verrenberger vineyard has steep, sunny south facing slopes and the best climate, with ample sunlight for the grapes during the high intensity ripening process. The vineyard is not affected by storms, and the soil has some shell limestone deposits. This Pinot Noir is aged in 100% oak barrels, with 2/3 of the barrels being new barrels used for the first time. The wine has a rich and delicate body, with many flavors of ripe fruits such as raspberries and blackberries finally blended together.
