Schloss Johannisberg Goldlack Riesling Trocken
Exhibitor
Schloss Johannisberg
The vineyard is located on a quartzite mountain in front of the Taunus Mountains. The hillside slopes at an angle of 45 degrees and reaches an altitude of 181 meters, offering perfect sunlight conditions for the grapes. The 50th parallel north runs across the entire vineyard. Here, the significant temperature difference between day and night is highly conducive to enhancing the aroma and flavor of the grapes. The grapes are hand - picked, fermented in oak barrels produced by Schloss Johannisberg, and then aged for 30 months in a 9 - meter - deep cellar.
The wine presents a pale golden color. Its multi - layered aroma carries a hint of plum. The scents of caramelized citrus, dried peach, and green tea blend together in the glass. The refined and fresh taste has a well - structured profile that clings tightly to the taste buds. The finish is long and delightful.
