About us
The headquarters of Weingut Römerhof in Germany is located in the Mosel, the world's most renowned Riesling wine region. Its affiliated wineries, Weingut Eifel-Pfeiffer and Weingut Spohr, are both held by the same family. The history of the winery's vineyards can be traced back to the Roman era, that is, more than 2,000 years ago. The family of Mr. Eifel, the winery owner, has owned and operated these vineyards since 1642. In the Mosel, the winery owns some of the world's best Riesling vineyards: Graacher Himmelreich, Bernkasteler Doktor, Brauneberger Juffer, Ürziger Würzgarten and Zeltinger Sonnenuhr. In the Rheinhessen region, the winery owns legendary vineyards such as Liebfrauenstift-Kirchenstück and Abenheimer Klausenberg.
